Description
Outpatient Services East (OSE) is a multi-specialty surgery center with a proven record of providing quality care and cost savings since inception in 1985.
Our Vision is to be the leader in Ambulatory Surgery Centers by consistently providing our customers with innovative and responsive services to deliver the highest quality healthcare in an ethical and cost-effective manner.
Located in the Professional Office Building #52 on the UAB St. Vincent's East Campus, the facility now provides 6 operating rooms and 9 procedure rooms and a Cysto room.
SUMMARY
Provides general care to patients in the facility by performing the following duties within the operating room.
- This is a PRN position. Scheduled as needed.
- Work schedule - Need availability to be Monday - Friday for PRN
- Operate C-Arm and/or portable x-ray.
- Maintain safe environment for patient, staff and physicians during radiologic exams.
- Prepares rooms and equipment for procedures.
- Maintains a clean environment by daily cleaning of all work surfaces and equipment.
- Participates in cleaning all aprons and lead shields as needed.
- Participates in patient call backs in between cases.
- Required: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.
*Specialties include: Orthopedic, ENT, Pain, Weight loss, GYN, Urology and Ophthalmology and GI.
Requirements
- Must have Xray Degree and License
- BLS required
- Xray experience or Xray background preferred
- Looking for availability for Monday-Friday, no weekends!
- PRN needed to help with heavy case days and to help with vacation day coverage
