Operating Room Surgical Technologist - CST
Requirements
- Current NY license
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
- Experience in Epic charting preferred
- Travel experience required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field and assist with instrument handling.
- Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
- Follow infection control protocols and adhere to hospital policies.
Compliance / Notes
- Call required as part of the weekend schedule.
- Orientation and training modules must be completed before starting.
