What this job involves:

As a Project Manager for Critical Infrastructure at JLL, you'll play a vital role in planning and executing projects that keep essential facilities and systems running at peak performance. This position is designed for professionals with growing experience who are ready to take ownership of complex projects involving data centers, mission-critical facilities, and infrastructure systems. You'll serve as a key coordinator between internal teams, vendors, and contractors while managing project lifecycles from conception through completion. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage project lifecycles from initial planning and design through construction, commissioning, and final closeout

  • Develop and maintain detailed project scopes, budgets, schedules, and documentation to ensure alignment with client requirements

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and consultants to facilitate seamless project execution

  • Monitor project progress continuously and proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, or risks before they impact delivery

  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices across all project activities

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and as-built drawings

  • Participate in procurement processes and support vendor selection, qualification, and performance evaluation

  • Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives that advance environmental and operational goals

  • Provide regular status updates, performance metrics, and executive reports to stakeholders and leadership teams

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related technical field

  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in facilities, infrastructure, or critical environments

  • Demonstrated familiarity with construction processes, building systems, and project documentation standards

  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, or similar platforms

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across diverse, cross-functional teams

  • Working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, and cooling systems

  • Solid organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification, or actively pursuing certification

  • Hands-on experience with design and technical tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar software

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification demonstrating commitment to workplace safety standards

  • Direct exposure to data center environments, mission-critical facilities, or 24/7 operational infrastructure

  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices, energy management systems, or industry certifications such as LEED or Uptime Institute standards
