Job Summary - Activities Director:
We're seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Activities Director to lead daily planned activities for our residents. If you're someone who values creativity, enjoys music and the arts, and can organize engaging activities, we want to hear from you. In this role, you'll receive support from our Activity Assistant.
Responsibilities:
As an Activities Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Implement the activities program.
- Creating a recurring and exciting activities schedule
-Leading one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
- Assisting residents with participating in and engaging in craft activities.
- Completing necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
- Identifying and addressing residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.
Requirements:
To succeed as an Activities Director, you should have:
- One of the following certifications is required: State-approved Activities Director, completed the 36-hour training course, Certified Recreation Therapist, or a Degree in exercise physiology
- A warm and caring personality.
