The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and will help create a safe, welcoming, and structured after-school environment where students can complete homework, participate in enrichment activities, build friendships, and stay active. Extended Care Program Schedule Mondays: 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m

| Tuesday-Friday: 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Some school days have a 12:00 p.m. dismissal; hours will be adjusted for early-release days and other special schedules

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) Supervise students from school dismissal through parent or guardian pickup, following all program safety and sign-out procedures. Assist students during study hall by providing homework support, encouraging good work habits, and maintaining a calm learning environment. Prepare and lead age-appropriate art and craft projects, including setting up materials, explaining activities, and assisting with cleanup.

Lead and participate in safe indoor and outdoor physical activities such as playground games, movement breaks, sports, and group recreation. Support enrichment activities, special events, seasonal projects, and snack service planned by the Extended Care Director. Build positive relationships, model respectful behavior, use positive behavior-management strategies, and report concerns promptly.

Assist with attendance, transitions, room setup, supply organization, and daily program routines. Maintain clean, organized, and safe activity spaces, materials, games, and equipment. Communicate professionally and follow all school safety, emergency, confidentiality, and mandated-reporting procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Extended Care program and school community.
