Job description

Shift(s) Description: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 Hour Lunch) + Shared Beeper Call (Nights & Weekends)

Coverage Dates:
October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027


Practice Details:

  • Practice Setting: Outpatient & Inpatient
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
  • Reason for Coverage: Long-Term Permanent Vacancy
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 15 Patients Per Day
  • Support Staff: RN, MA, PA/NP, Office Staff
  • Current Team: 2 Physicians & 3 Nurse Practitioners

Additional Details:

  • Full-time coverage preferred; will consider providers available 2–3 weeks per month.
  • Shared night and weekend beeper call.
  • Community-based Cancer Center with Radiation Oncology services.
  • Providers will see both ambulatory and hospital patients.
  • Bone marrow biopsies can be performed in the Cancer Center and are preferred.
  • Cancer Center includes 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs and 2 non-chemotherapy infusion chairs.
  • Temporary privileges available.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology (Required)
  • License Requirement (None) : Willing to Obtain 
  • Fellowship Trained (Required)
  • ACLS (Required)
  • ATLS (Required)
  • BLS (Required)
