Experience supporting Cerner Patient Access (Registration), Cerner Scheduling, Experian eligibility/verification tools and PM Reporting. Epic experience with registration and scheduling is a  plus!
The Application Architect III will lead the design and implementation of innovative and scalable application architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Lead Application Architect will mentor and guide the technical team, drive architectural decisions, and contribute to the overall success of our technology initiatives.
Strategic Architecture Planning: Spearhead the development of strategic plans for innovative and scalable application architectures. Collaborate with leadership to align technology strategies with organizational goals.
Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide strong technical leadership to the application architecture team, guiding them in best practices. Mentor and develop technical talent within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Solution Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of complex and scalable application architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of technology solutions.
Technology Assessment and Integration: Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and open-source solutions for adoption. Oversee the integration of new technologies, ensuring seamless compatibility with existing systems.
Governance and Standards: Define and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices. Adhere to governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards.

Knowledge of and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail). Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 year's experience in a Senior Level Application Architect or similar leadership role. Extensive knowledge of application development life cycle, software design principles, and architectural patterns. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and high-performance applications. Experience with cloud-based application architectures.Preferred Experience: 5 plus years of experience in a similar role in a Healthcare setting with proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
