Job description

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for a Clinical Workflow Analyst IV to support our contract at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Global Support Program Task Order 7 (GSP TO7) at ATAMMC in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Work Location: 9300 DeWitt Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060
Position Overview:
  • The Clinical Workflow Analyst IV holds overall responsibility for managing MHS GENESIS incident tickets, directing clinical workflow analysis, and coordinating Clinical Informatics programs.
  • This role manages as site lead and serves as the subject matter expert on clinical workflow and systems optimization.
  • Contract Support Hours: Monday-Friday, 0800-1600

Job Duties:
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of MHS GENESIS incident and change request tickets using DHA ticketing system, ensuring adherence to all established protocols and performance standards.
  • Conduct quality control for local tickets, provide guidance on reporting, and escalate complex issues as directed.
  • Participate in major incident bridge calls and brief Clinical Informatics leadership on resolution status.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the analysis and optimization of clinical workflows at an enterprise level; direct large-scale workflow analysis for application development and process re-engineering projects.
  • Establish and enforce quality controls between software application data, security controls, and the environmental infrastructure.
  • Analyze and disseminate critical information utilizing Oracle Health Cerner data analytic platforms (e.g., Cerner Advance, Cerner Lights On Network, Discern Analytics, and HealtheAnalytics).
  • Act as a key liaison between the MHS Service Desk, Defense Health Network (DHN) CHIO, MTF teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate local or regional Clinical Informatics programs and deliverables.
  • Facilitate all Information Steering Committee (ISC) meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and managing logistics.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on data related to MHS GENESIS performance and its impact on clinical users.
  • Monitor metrics for incident resolution, change management, and workflow efficiency.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on clinical workflow and systems optimization; manages as site lead.

Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ Years of progressive experience in clinical workflow analysis, MHS GENESIS, or clinical informatics (Clinical Workflow Analyst - Level IV, per LCAT Version 2); manages as site lead.
  • Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Clinical Sciences, or related field, and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience with MHS GENESIS or Oracle Health Cerner Electronic Health Record workflows and incident management.
  • Experience utilizing Oracle Health Cerner data analytic platforms (e.g., Cerner Advance, Lights On Network, Discern Analytics, HealtheAnalytics).
  • Experience facilitating committee meetings and briefing clinical leadership on system performance.
  • Experience directing large-scale workflow analysis and process re-engineering for clinical applications.
  • Experience managing Clinical Informatics programs and coordinating with MTF teams.
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) proficiency level: Advanced. Cyber Role Designation: 411 - Technical Support Specialist - Advanced.

Certification Requirements: IAT III & Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certifications - Required to Start.
Clearance Requirements: A NACLC is Required to Start.
