Job Title Senior Planner, Master Scheduling
Division L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty
Location: Somerset, NJ - Franklin Manufacturing
Reports To: Manager, Logistics

What You Will Learn:
Build a balanced production plan over a 12-month rolling period based on the consolidated customer demands from the Global Supply & Operations Planning team (GS&OP) and the information on capacity, industrial constraints, components/raw material availability and reactivity
  • Define with the GS&OP team key priorities and parameters for production planning, taking into consideration the relevant supply methods, reactivity levels and the stage of the product life stage.
  • Analyze and challenge the plant performance in terms of service and plan realization.
  • Build rolling weekly plan sequence and collaborate with Short Term Planner (STP) on changes affecting the firm horizon.
  • Be able to assess pros and cons of possible action plans related to production and decide which action will provide best solution for the business and plant using knowledge gathered from cross-functional teams. Understand impacts the decisions will have and communicate to appropriate impacted teams.
  • Present on catalogue, service, risks, and projects in CPD supply review, top risk meetings and leadership reviews that focus on action plans related to recovering/protecting service.
  • Coordinate with Launch team to ensure correct prioritization and planning of launches and insources.
  • Be able to analyze data on availabilities of materials, line performance, capacity and business need in order to assess what the best path forward is and gain alignment from teams.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently to internal procurement groups on prioritizations, pull forwards and plan changes to support service for the plant.
  • Build trust with cross functional teams using clear communication, sensitivity, sense of urgency.
  • Maintain 98% service across entire catalogue by balancing capacity, material constraints, line down time/planned maintenance,
  • Root cause analysis on gap to target stock with action plans to close the gap to target stock. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and hold them accountable to action plan.
  • Update and publish service top risk, G2T and daily ACH/ADH reports. Ensure that reason codes are clear, consistent and include next steps to mitigate risks.
  • Assist in annual planning of budget within regularly managed catalogue.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain discipline preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a high-performance manufacturing facility, cosmetics industry preferred.
  • Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Must have strong written/verbal and communication and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously; manage change, provide program management and achieve results.
  • Proven ability to develop short and long-range plans that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with plant and corporate personnel at various organizational levels and external suppliers.
