Job Title Preweigh Specialist
Division: L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty
Location: Somerset, NJ
Reports To: Supervisor, Warehouse

What You Will Learn:
Responsible for operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and or other powered material handling equipment to move, stack and put-away materials in a safe and efficient manner. Accountable for preweigh (PW) of raw materials, label and store PW kits for production. Perform A-Stocking and B-Stocking duties of components, Raw Materials (MP) and bulk to and from the Preweigh and Packaging areas. Must be certified in all XP requirements pertaining to Preweigh, Production and Warehouse areas. Perform system transactions accurately.
  • Load, unload, move, and store product and materials using a forklift, or other or other powered equipment while meeting/exceeding daily productivity goals
  • Maintain equipment such as scales and pumps and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
  • Operate pallet wrapping machine and other assigned equipment
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards
  • Ensure that all preweighing is done as prescribed by procedures and that all cGMP, OTC and SOP's are followed
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
  • Efficiently stack and store materials in their designated areas
  • Pull and prepare materials for safe shipment by strapping, wrapping, and or securing bolt rings while ensuring that the exact number and type of product is picked loaded and shipped, this includes performing a partial pick when necessary and/ or XP MP's or Bulk
  • Pick materials for packaging, preweigh, quick pick and special packaging
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into, trailers or containers using the correct loading techniques to minimize damage while in-transit, prepare all shipping paperwork correctly and accurately.
  • High regard of safety for self and team
  • Assist in maintaining the 5S standards of the warehouse
  • Proactively seeks ways to improve safety (SIO Program)
  • Assist in preforming cycle counting, physical inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Able to access and update the Delivery Order (DO) log.
  • Use Flexnet to print and pick DOs.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years' experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment operating forklift equipment.
  • 1 year experience in preweigh environment.
  • Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly. Must be able to read and understand scales calibrated in metric format and be able to use the metric system in all aspects of this position
  • The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety and quality is extremely important
  • Must have responsible work habits and have the ability to work overtime when needed
  • Must meet requirements for Hazardous waste collection
  • cGMP, ISO, XP, OTC and ETQ Training
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.
