What You Will Learn:
CeraVe is seeking a strategic and high-impact Director, Owned Content and Partnerships to architect and lead our earned-first digital ecosystem. This role is designed for a leader who can bridge the gap between cultural storytelling and commercial results, specifically serving as the primary orchestrator for our partnerships and major seasonal tentpoles working in close partnership with the DMI. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of 360-degree integrated marketing campaigns-from creative ideation and strategic briefing to multi-channel execution-ensuring CeraVe remains at the forefront of the skin and haircare conversation through innovative, earned-led narratives.
Operating at the intersection of digital culture, you will execute US lead campaigns as well as partner with DMI on localizing large-scale campaigns into high-performing content that resonates with our US target audiences. As the primary liaison for top-tier talent, you will act as a cultural pulse-taker, identifying white-space opportunities to differentiate CeraVe's across the digital ecosystem. This is a pivotal role for a strategic and creative leader dedicated to driving brand love and relevance through partnership initiatives, unique talent collaborations, and industry-leading earned-first digital campaigns.
This role is responsible for defining the overarching organic social and content strategy for CeraVe, ensuring brand authority through the integration of expert-led dermatologist content and high-impact creative assets. You will oversee internal social team and agency relationships to drive creative, analytics, and community growth. You will set the vision for social listening and community management to identify white-space opportunities and propel CeraVe to be the most trusted voice in the skincare conversation across social.
BRAND CONTENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the Director of PR and Partnerships to architect and execute comprehensive US marketing strategies for brand partnerships, ensuring an earned-first approach that drives cultural relevance and brand fame.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of integrated marketing campaigns for major partnerships-from initial creative ideation and strategic briefing to production and multi-channel deployment.
  • Lead deep collaboration with Brand Marketing, DMI, PR, Digital, and Social teams to deliver cohesive, 360-degree narratives. Seamlessly integrate tentpole activities into the broader marketing calendar for maximum consumer impact.
  • Lead the US adaptation of Global/DMI initiatives, localizing large-scale campaign objectives into high-performing, culturally-resonant content specifically tailored for the US target audience.
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop compelling storytelling, high-quality assets, and comprehensive toolkits that distinctly elevate the CeraVe brand within the context of earned-first digital campaigns.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for external collaborators, including top-tier talent and creative agencies.
  • Analyze campaign metrics and consumer engagement data to derive actionable insights, ensuring that high-stakes execution translates into measurable commercial results and deepened brand love.
  • Oversee partnership campaigns led by key retail accounts (e.g., retail-specific promotions), ensuring all external activations maintain brand integrity and align with the overarching earned-led strategy.

TALENT PARTNERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Architect and deploy high-impact talent strategies ensuring creator and VIP integrations amplify the brand narrative during high-visibility cultural windows.
  • Strategically vet and manage a diverse roster VIPs and influencer partners
  • Manage the full talent content lifecycle-from creative briefing to Traackr-enabled tracking-ensuring all assets meet CeraVe's standards for engagement and support an earned-first digital presence.
  • Own and lead relationships with OneFluential challenging them to deliver "first-to-market" campaigns and unique talent options that differentiate CeraVe's presence.
  • Serve as the primary pulse-taker of the social landscape; proactively identify emerging trends and white-space opportunities to keep the brand at the forefront of digital conversation.
  • Lead community-centric initiatives across sponsorship activations, fostering deeper brand relevance through unique, real-world partnership experiences.

OWNED SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Lead the overarching organic social and content strategy for CeraVe, ensuring the Social Media Manager successfully maintains brand leadership across Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee the collaboration between social, professional medical relations, and dermatologist partners to ensure expert-led content remains the most trusted and authoritative voice in the skincare conversation.
  • Manage the creative agency ecosystem to ensure the Social Media Manager delivers high-impact assets and copy that align with the US marketing calendar
  • Drive a culture of social listening and rigorous analytics, holding the social team accountable for KPIs (follower growth, engagement, and brand rank) while using data to identify white-space opportunities for future planning.
  • Orchestrate the integration of social content across the broader organization, ensuring seamless alignment between owned social channels, influencer partnerships, and paid media amplification for all product launches and brand activations.
  • Set the vision for community management and UGC amplification, overseeing the Social Media Manager's execution of community-driven campaigns, sweepstakes, and the partnership with Le Care to monitor brand sentiment and professional testimonials.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • Education Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, public relations,
  • 5-7 Years of Experience in advertising or integrated marketing in the skincare, beauty and/or CPG industry
  • Passionate about social media, particularly trends and conversations in the beauty and skincare space.
  • Experience in creating and delivering effective presentations via PowerPoint and proficient in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experienced with use of Traackr platform for reporting of influencer marketing performance.
  • Must be a strategic planner and creative thinker with a strong vision and collaborative mindset.
  • Must demonstrate proven ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines.
  • Must be change agile and demonstrate success working in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, collaboration and ability to build strong business relationships.
  • Experience managing content and creative, and well versed with creator communities.
  • Required to be in office 3 days per week (NOTE: during remaining weeks of 2024, the CeraVe brand will be in office in alternating weeks while the Hudson Yards office is being remodeled).
