CENTURY GOLF PARTNERS MANAGEMENT

BartenderPosition Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of beverage production and service to our Members and guests. In addition to supporting all Club venues, events and fellow Employee Partners in delivering quality beverages and service, the Bartender maintains the bar, bar service areas and related storerooms in a neat, organized and secure manner. The Bartender follows the proper procedures for stocking, cleaning and ensuring opening/closing duties are performed to ensure bar readiness at all times. Responsible to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests in a professional and pleasant manner.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Previous bartending experience required.
  • A working knowledge of bar related beverages, spirits, wine and beer.
  • A working knowledge of the most common cocktails, mixed drinks and specialty drinks.
  • Alcohol Server Certification
  • Possesses a passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
  • Issue checks for drinks served via electronic input system.
  • Maintain daily inventory of liquors, beers, wines and tobacco, including tracking drinks and liquors in greatest demand to ensure stock maintenance, stocking additional supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in bar area including cleaning equipment and keeping glasses polished.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

  • Lift 20 lbs. over head.
  • Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
  • Be able to use a point of sale system, computer, calculator, credit card machine.
  • High customer volume at times
