What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Centurion, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Centurion, one needed expertise in military tactics, leadership, and physical fitness, typically gained through years of service and battlefield experience. Proficiency with Roman military weapons, armor, and formations was crucial, along with familiarity with command structures and discipline systems. What are Centurions?

Centurions were professional officers in the Roman army who commanded a 'century' of around 80 men. They played a crucial role in maintaining discipline, training soldiers, and leading troops in battle.
