Position Description: The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems including, but not limited to pumps, motors, compressors, conveying system, gear reducers, and general lighting.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Embrace a safety culture and perform all tasks with safety at the forefront.
  • Trouble shooting electrical systems and make repairs as needed. Consult with requester, maintenance planner, and/or supervisor when necessary.
  • Perform preventative electrical routine maintenance of various equipment to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
  • Perform data entry into computer database.
  • Use forklift, bobcat, front-end loader, and other mobile equipment as needed.
  • Be flexible to work in various departments such as the laboratory, maintenance, shipping, or production.
  • Sweep, clean, and pick-up to maintain good housekeeping standards.
  • Obtain one-lines, drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources. Make any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., necessary to clarify the intent of the work order.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be able to work 40 hours or more per week.
  • Must be able to work mandatory overtime if necessary, including weekends.
  • Must adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to work in temperature of heat in summer and cold in winter
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat as needed for responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Mechanical aptitude is beneficial
  • Computer skills are beneficial

Qualifications Include:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of industrial related work experience
