The Sales Operations Manager is the primary support professional to a team of sales people whose primary responsibility is to qualify and sell solutions. The Sales Operations Manager is a member of the sales team. This position involves a combination of analytical, operational, and strategic responsibilities to drive the overall success of the sales organization. This role calls for an individual with initiative, ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage multiple, complex tasks.  An effective Sales Operations Manager will manage and enhance the sales processes, is tech savvy, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with distinctive organizational, collaboration, client service skills and provide strategic support.  

Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with the Sales Manager and Marketing Director.

- Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and goal achievement.

- Maintain the accuracy of sales forecast and sales data.

- Collaborate with the other departments such as Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure alignment with overall business objectives

- Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying process and evaluating new tools

- Produce and review actionable and accurate sales reporting for reps, managers sales leaders, and executive team

- Build and help to standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review.

- Assist in sales compensation management reporting

- Create internal and external documents to support the sales process (training documentation, meeting notes, marketing and sales collateral, strategic account plans, proposals that address client needs and goals).

- Help coordinate internal training on a regular basis.

- Maintain and supervise mentoring program for newly hired sales or junior account representatives

- Attend and participate in sales meetings, occasional trade shows and product sessions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in sales operations or a related role.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales technologies.
