Job description

Cedarville University is seeking to hire an Admissions Counselor to participate in all of the activities related to the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of students at Cedarville University. The Admissions Counselor will represent the University throughout the lifecycle of the applicant through application review, on campus visits and individual communication. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; Cedarville graduate is preferred
  • Excellent skills in organization, leadership, communication, attention to detail and customer service
  • Must have excellent group presentation skills
  • Must be energetic, creative, flexible, dependable, resilient, tactful, and competitive
  • Experience in sales, group management, marketing, and/or recruiting preferred
  • General computer knowledge including word processing, spreadsheets and social media; experience with CRM software
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to comply with university vehicle-use requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Ability to lift objects up to twenty pounds
  • Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ
  • Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and General Workplace Standards.
