Job Description

We are looking for a Class A or Class B CDL Driver to join our team in Denver!

Since its formation in 1994, Rocky Mountain Pavement has been Colorado's premier contractor in providing asphalt maintenance services to both commercial and private customers, specializing in asphalt paving and patching, hot-pour crack seal, sealcoat, striping, and concrete repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Minimum 3 years of driving history
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • CDL Class A or B license
  • Ability to maintain accurate logs, records, and daily company paperwork
  • Responsible for ensuring the tractor-trailer is in good working condition and notifying the shop of any issues for immediate correction
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to focus on tasks at hand
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours based on schedule requirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
  • Regular and timely attendance is essential
  • Valid ID, background check, and drug screening required
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. required (participation in E-Verify)
  • Must pass a DOT drug test

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain logs and records according to DOT regulations
  • Check truck’s equipment and supplies to assure roadworthiness
  • Notify supervisor/shop of currently needed or anticipated repairs
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
