About This Role

We're seeking a part-time team member to join Warwick River Christian, a faith-based learning center, where you'll work with school-age children in a supportive and engaging environment. Prior childcare experience is preferred, but we encourage individuals with a passion for working with kids to apply. As a bonus, there may be opportunities for full-time employment during our Summer Camp Program.


What You'll Do
  • Plan engaging activities tailored to the age group you're working with, while maintaining a calm and organized learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for children.
  • Ensure a clean and tidy classroom at all times, promoting a healthy and safe environment.
  • Maintain a calm and respectful atmosphere, perfect for fostering a love of learning.
  • During Before and After Care and non-school days, supervise school-age children with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Take advantage of the possibility of full-time employment during the summer months by joining our Summer Camp Program.

Requirements
  • Commitment to personal ongoing professional development.
  • Successfully complete a full background check.
  • Need the energy and personality appropriate to work with and care for children 2.5 to 13 years old.
