GSOC Operator (Global Security Operations Center)
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Available Shifts: Mon-Sun: (24hr/7days
Pay Rate: $22.00-$23.00
  • Level 1 Operator: 40 hours/week (2nd shift)
  • Level 2 Operator: (overnights / weekends / holidays)

As a GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) Operator, you will monitor global security systems, collect and communicate critical information, and coordinate responses to incidents that may affect client personnel, locations, third-party vendors, operations, or assets. This position requires strong situational awareness, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced operations center.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor, collect, assess, and report critical information related to global and regional incidents that may impact client personnel, locations, operations, or assets
  • Maintain global situational awareness of client locations and countries where client third-party vendors operate
  • Answer and manage calls received through the client's security office phone line
  • Coordinate routine dispatch activities and communicate assignments to appropriate security personnel
  • Review incoming video alarm notifications and respond in accordance with established procedures
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, business travel, and corporate mass-notification systems, including AlertMedia
  • Utilize CCURE 9000 and VICTOR CCTV systems to monitor and respond to security activity
  • Dispatch security personnel, site representatives, management, or emergency services as appropriate
  • Document security events, actions taken, notifications, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
  • Maintain the GSOC operational log to support accurate shift pass-downs and operational continuity
  • Complete daily shift checklists, pass-down log entries, and incident reports as directed
  • Communicate professionally with client personnel, DSI management, site security teams, third-party vendors, and emergency responders
  • Follow DSI policies, client requirements, escalation procedures, and post-specific instructions
  • Protect confidential, sensitive, and proprietary security information
  • Maintain focus and situational awareness while managing multiple systems, calls, alarms, and incidents
  • Participate in required training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors related to security, safety, and GSOC operations

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior security, dispatch, monitoring, emergency communications, GSOC, SOC, or control room experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of CCURE 9000 and VICTOR CCTV systems
  • Experience monitoring CCTV, access control, alarm, business travel, or mass-notification systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Ability to evaluate information, prioritize incidents, and follow established escalation procedures
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused for extended periods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare accurate, clear, and concise incident reports and operational logs
  • Reliable transportation and means of communication
  • Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings
