REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Provide leadership and coordination of sales and marketing functions for communities for which associate is responsible.
  • Assist in development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, and benchmarks for the sales force to achieve.
  • Travels to assigned communities to coach sales staff and empower them to meet benchmarks and overall occupancy goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals and benchmarks of each assigned community in order to meet or exceed overall budgeted occupancy for the communities.
  • Supervises the sales staff at assigned communities, which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, performance appraisal, managing policies and procedures to ensure achievement of the departments’ goals.
  • Assist in analyzation and evaluation of the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results.
  • Works closely with the Director of Marketing and Sales and provides input to establish sales goals and strategies for the sales team within the assigned communities
  • Works closely with the Director of Marketing and Sales and provides input to develop annual marketing and communication action plans for assigned communities
  • Ensures Marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements and sales targets.
  • Reviews and recommends pricing structures based on market research and competitors analysis for assigned communities
  • Oversees and directs market research and competitor analysis to support assigned communities and participates in organizational budget process.
  • Participates and leads sales training and management efforts for the enterprise to enhance performance of all sales team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BS in a business-related major.
  • Five years of sales experience required; with 2 years in a management position.
  • Prefer experience in a CCRC setting.
  • Prefer regional experience.
  • Prefer start-up experience in a CCRC.
  • CRM Experience preferred
  • Availability for extensive travel (50+ %) and a flexible schedule.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must have proven skills in working independently, be self-motivated and goal oriented. 
  • Working experience with customer relationship management software is preferred. 
  • Event planning experience preferred.  
  • Must be a mission driven team player supporting the needs of both coworkers and residents
