 Job Summary:
 
IT Veterans is currently seeking a LAN/WAN Engineer SME to join our team.  You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
Job Details:
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network analysis and design—Service Provider 
  • Primary Skills: ISIS, OSPF, MP-BGP, VRFs, EVPN, vxLAN, IOS-XR, JUNOS, IOS-XE, Automation, MPLS and segment routing 
    • L2VPN, Pseuodowires, L3VPN, IPSec, MACsec.   
  • Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software. 
  • Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.  
  • Expert Knowledge of Automation and ability to use automation software, controllers, and tooling 
  • Knowledge of Agile workflows and techniques 
  • Expert knowledge of Service Now and flow design 
  • Knowledge of LINUX and bash/Python 
  • Knowledge of cryptographic equipment and management tools. 
  • Experience with various service provider transport, circuit activation and testing a plus. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
  • Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNP or JNCIP or equivalent
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
