Job Description:

We have an urgent need for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our client in Grand Forks, ND. This is a 6-month contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will possess an active CCNP certification and have a strong background in network engineering, Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco ISE. This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen and work 5 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Configure and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and policy enforcement.
  • Perform network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Active CCNP certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
  • Proficiency with Palo Alto firewall configuration and management.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
