This position will support Air Force cryptographic modernization efforts by helping identify capability gaps, assess vulnerabilities in COMSEC and cryptographic systems, and develop recommendations, requirements, and strategic plans for modernized solutions across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms. The position also supports roadmap development, architecture and requirements documentation, compliance tracking, fielding strategies, and leadership briefings related to enterprise cryptographic modernization Responsibilities include but are not limited to * Participate in meetings, progress reviews, integrated teams, working groups, etc. * Draft, edit, and review a variety of correspondence and documentation, primarily using Microsoft Office applications. * Provide information management, records management, scheduling functions, and meeting/conference support. * Prepare briefing/training materials and present briefings/trainings. * Liaise and coordinate with personnel at all levels inside and outside the organization. * Provide awareness of new/evolving requirements and recommendations for integration. * Provide support for planning, programming, tracking, and financial execution. * Prepare information papers, point papers, background papers, and staff studies. Task-Specific Responsibilities * Provide Cybersecurity/COMSEC policy and technical expertise. * Support HQ CCC Government personnel by providing policy interpretation and guidance to AF COMSEC offices, including field-level offices, for all Cybersecurity/COMSEC efforts. Assist in resolving issues with implementation of National/DoW/DAF directives, instructions, strategies, goals, objectives, and related guidance. Notify the Government Lead of COMSEC-related problems, issues, and field incidents. * Provide support by phone, audio and video teleconferences (VTCs), webinars, collaborative tool environments, or email. Brief and communicate with Government representatives at various ranks and levels of responsibility, and prepare correspondence including emails and briefings for those individuals. * Continuously monitor HQ CCC discussion forum postings and, as requested by HQ CCC, update FAQs, forums, and similar collaborative environment content with correct answers and official source/authority citations tailored to the intended audience. * Maintain expertise in all COMSEC regulations, review official AF interpretations, and recommend policy updates and lessons learned for incorporation into documentation. Propose changes to address current technologies and security threats. Requirements * TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
* Minimum of 2 years of advanced staff experience planning, organizing, and negotiating effectively with cross-functional teams using TMT or other staff coordination standards, document reviews, program updates, and background papers to drive adoption of critical recommendations. * Demonstrated proficiency in architecting and implementing scalable Tactical Data Link (TDL) network solutions through strategic planning, resource allocation, and complex negotiations with senior analysts and executive management, with proven ability to champion and secure enterprise-level adoption of network design recommendations.
