MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Material Handler Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Performing general warehouse tasks, preventative maintenance, refurbishing, shipping and receiving Damage Control (Fire Fighting), Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Sorting equipment, applying labels, and assembling/disassembling protective equipment
  • Reporting and recording accurate inventory of all Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) assets processed daily, by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality (QMS) management systems
  • Performing quality assurance and quality control activities
  • Performing visual/technical inspections of all CBR masks and equipment as trained and directed
  • Assisting the Team Lead in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task
  • Technicians will perform visual/technical inspections of all CBR masks and equipment as trained and directed throughout each stage of the process

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of experience in basic warehousing
  • Must possess basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial/warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using handheld scanners
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment, and to be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Must be able to safely operate forklifts, mid-riders, pallet jacks and/ or other similar MHE devices
