Familiarity with catheterization lab equipment, fluoroscopy imaging systems, and electronic health record (EHR) software is crucial. They operate specialized imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat heart and blood vessel conditions. Preparation involves maintaining a thorough understanding of protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest technology, and practicing excellent communication with physicians and the cath lab team.
