Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in an invasive cardiovascular services department.

Details
  • Work in an invasive cardiovascular services department at an acute care hospital
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Monday through Friday schedule plus on-call shifts
  • On-call required one day per week and every fourth Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Weekends only required when on call
  • No floating outside of scope required
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Surgical Technology required
  • Must be registered or licensed as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
  • Experience with Mac Lab system required
  • Working knowledge of sterile surgical technique required
  • License required if applicable โ€” pending licensure not accepted
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
  • Local candidates are not accepted โ€” candidates must not reside in the local area
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include assisting physicians as a scrub assistant, procedure circulator, and recording technician in the invasive cardiovascular services department
  • Engage in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac testing
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of all equipment and procedures used in cardiac patient care
  • Radiologic Technologists hired into an EP Lab role must obtain RCES within two years of hire
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
