Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: West Jordan, UT Agency: United Health Care Staffing, Inc. Pay: $2,800 to $3,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in West Jordan, Utah, 84081!

Start Date: 04-13-2026

End Date: 07-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts); 40 hours per week; includes every-other-weekend on-call and a couple of evening on-call shifts

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care in a cardiac catheterization lab
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional radiologists and the cath lab team to support procedures such as cardiac cath, IR and neuro thrombectomy
  • Monitor and document patient status using EPIC and Merge hemodynamics/CPACS
  • Maintain a safe, sterile environment and ensure equipment (Phillips imaging) is ready for each case
  • Respond promptly and professionally to STEMI activations as part of an accredited STEMI center
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, providing skilled nursing support during weekend and evening call shifts
Qualifications
  • Current, valid RN license (able to submit license for assignment)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cath lab or interventional cardiology preferred
  • ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Comfortable working in acute care and high-acuity procedural settings
  • Experience with EPIC charting, Merge hemodynamics/CPACS and Phillips imaging is a strong plus
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation including every-other-weekend coverage
Education
  • Active RN license in applicable state (required)
  • BSN not required for this role (BSN optional/preferred depending on facility hiring policy)
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Familiarity with neuro thrombectomy and interventional radiology workflows
  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record documentation
  • Comfort using Merge hemodynamics/CPACS and Phillips imaging systems
  • Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to function calmly and effectively during STEMI activations and emergent cases
