Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring 1 year of cath lab experience and NM or compact RN licensure.

Details
  • Work in the Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call required with every 4th weekend coverage
  • Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided
  • Involves left and right heart catheterizations, cardioversion, procedural sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
Requirements
  • Active NM or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • RCIS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Skilled in scrub procedures, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
Additional Information
  • Circulate and scrub cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
  • Former staff members must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • No travel pairs or groups accepted
