Tech, Cath Lab - PRN Days

If you're looking for a place to call home and grow, Three Crosses Regional Hospital is looking for you! We are looking for a Cath Lab Technician to join our Cath Lab Team that is committed to clinical excellence and building a patient-centered culture.

Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an advanced independent healthcare organization led by a local team of professionals dedicated to high quality patient care and being the first choice of patients and providers in the communities we serve.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the application and monitoring of medical gases.
  • Airway care, including suction.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and maintain the integrity of the sterile field.
  • Proper handling of sharps.
  • Safe operations of the single plane x-ray gantry and table movement and knowledge of radiation safety.
  • Working knowledge of intracoronary medications, transporting of the critically ill patient.
  • Ability to successfully complete point of care testing of stat labs, ACTs and whole blood oximetry.
  • Be able to operate the following equipment according to policy: wall and portable suctioning regulators, critical care/med-surg beds, code (crash)carts/ defibrillators/external pacemakers, bag-valve mask devices (Ambu-bag), patient transfer devices, single plane cardiac Cath system, hemodynamic monitoring system, contrast injectors and contrast management system (ACIST), PYXIS control system, intravascular ultra sound console, intra-aortic balloon pump console, atherectomy console, cautery and plasma blade generators, sonosite console, mechanical syringe pump, IV infusion pumps, 12 lead EKG consoles, PACS system and the EMR.

Requirements:

  • Current BLS, ACLS
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • 2+ Years experience in the Cath Lab
  • ARRT/NBRC Certification preferred
  • RRT, RCIS, RT,CT(CI) RT (CV) preferred
