Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Utilizing material handling equipment, primarily push carts
  • Perform material handling and warehousing functions
  • Order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, equipment and supplies
  • Ability to work with a strong safety-minded culture, in a temperature controlled environment
  • Operating automated packaging equipment, shipping and receiving

All eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar:
  • Background Screening
  • Drug Screening
  • Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical

Basic Requirements
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes
  • Walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand for 8 consecutive hours
  • Ability to work overtime, often on short notice

Top Candidates Will Also Have
  • Experience with operation of materials handling equipment - or willingness to be trained
  • Previous distribution center, warehouse, and/or order filling experience
