As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar, you will:

  • Use heavy equipment including cherry picker, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes.

  • Perform material handling and warehousing functions.

  • Order fill, process, store and pick parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.

  • Conduct basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.

  • Additionally, you will work from a variety of documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of previous work experience

Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Willing and able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes

  • Willing and able to infrequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Willing and able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor

  • Willing and able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

  • Willing and able to walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes

Top Candidates will also have:

  • 2+ years of continuous employment in industrial assembly or manufacturing

  • Continuous work history with progressive movement

  • Forklift experience

  • Logistics/warehouse experience

  • SAP experience

  • Heavy equipment product line experience (i.e., excavators, tractors, etc.)

Successful candidates must pass an online assessment prior to interview. Employment includes a 2-week paid training program. Entry pay is $19.28 /hour. 2nd & 3rd shift receives an additional 8%-night shift premium.

Shift Schedules:

1st shift :

Option 1: Monday-Thursday, 6 am – 4:30 pm

Option 2: Monday-Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm

2nd shift :

Option 1: Monday-Thursday, 5 pm – 3:30 am

Option 2: Monday-Friday, 3 pm – 11:30 pm

3rd Shift:

Option 1: Sunday- Thursday 11pm - 7:30am

Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs.
