General Warehouse Worker Job Description

Job Ability & Task Requirements

  • Track and document incoming shipments
  • Tag and label merchandise using an online inventory system
  • Dismantling electronic waste using multiple hand tools.
  • Be able to use powered electric hand tools if necessary.
  • Be able to use power pneumatic hand tools if necessary.
  • Keep area clean by sweeping 10 minutes before a break and before end of the shift.
  • Keep track of all tools that are issued daily.
  • Load/unload, shrink wrap/unwrap pallets.
  • Sort electronic waste by separating it into commodities such as hard drives, power supplies, mixed drives, PC’s, servers, circuit boards, batteries and various electronic equipment.
  • Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Label receptacles for sorted equipment appropriately, if requested.
  • Follow all Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
