JOB SUMMARY:

This position will require the ability to operate multiple sizes and brands of heavy, aerial, water pump, and shoring equipment, load and unload equipment safely off and onto trucks and trailers, wash equipment, check/inspect and communicate any damages when equipment is brought back, perform minor repair/inspections and PM Services on the equipment, work in all-weather types, great organizational and communication skills and ability to work with customers professionally and courteously.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A college degree or continuing education in a technical field is preferred.
  • Experience in construction or power equipment service and repair is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or power equipment required.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision and work flexible/Shift hours.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Some computer and software skills are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry, 50lb pulling, and standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
