Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in rental equipment sales and the sale of new and used Caterpillar construction equipment, as well as related products and services. This position will be responsible for sales in the following counties: Seneca, Wyandot, Marion, Crawford, Richland, and Ashland. This role requires a strategic, customer-focused approach to territory management, sales execution, and relationship building.
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, advising customers with confidence and expertise, and negotiating transactions that deliver value to both the customer and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell Caterpillar construction equipment and related services.
  • Equipment rental sales.
  • Manage your territory effectively through strategic planning and execution.
  • Build strong customer relationships by demonstrating product knowledge and business insight.
  • Negotiate deals that align with both customer needs and company goals.
  • Maintain accurate records in Sales Link, including leads, opportunities, and account activities.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate quotes, contracts, financial documents, and delivery records.
  • Collaborate with factory representatives to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Apply professional sales techniques to overcome objections and highlight product features and benefits.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction equipment industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Caterpillar equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
