Job description

***Must have Open Availability to work all shifts including Weekend, Holidays and Graveyard***

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
1.    Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
2.    Assists all dealers in starting or breaking games in the Poker or California sections.
3.    Retrieves and delivers equipment or chips to dealers when needed and assist with cashing out customers upon request.
4.    Notifies Floor Attendant/Supervisor of any empty seats at tables in the poker section.
5.    Understands and is responsible for following Company and departmental policy and procedure.
6.    Must be able to work full-time during tournament season and any overtime as required, with or without notice.  
7.    Must have knowledge of and comply with BSA/AML policies and procedure.
8.    Notifies Supervisor or Shift manager of any suspicious or unusual activity 
9.    Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Management.

                                                     QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required:
   Preferred Casino gaming related experience.

Education:     
   High School Diploma or equivalent.


Other Requirements: 
   Must be familiar with all games, have knowledge of Casino gaming rules and operations, as well as departmental policy and procedures. 
   Must have effective communication skills working with customers and employees of all levels and be an ethical decision maker.
   Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
   Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position

Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary.  Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures as well as regulations related to the employee’s duties. A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.  Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
