Job Summary
The Cash Room Manager is responsible for overseeing all cash handling operations, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance with company policies and audit requirements. This role manages cash controls, monitoring processes, and team performance to maintain financial integrity and support overall store operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily cash room operations to ensure accurate handling, processing, and security of funds
  • Ensure compliance with all company cash handling policies, procedures, and audit requirements
  • Monitor cash counts, reconciliations, and variances, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cash activity and reporting
  • Supervise and manage cash room staff to ensure adherence to operational standards and performance expectations
  • Review and validate daily, weekly, and periodic cash reports for accuracy
  • Ensure proper controls are in place for cash access, transactions, and secure storage
  • Coordinate cash-related processes with front-end and accounting functions
  • Identify risks, inconsistencies, or control gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain organization, security, and cleanliness of the cash room area
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in cash handling, accounting, or financial operations
