We're currently seeking a dedicatedPatient Receivables and Cash Posting Manager to join our Patient Financial Services Departmentat our Crestline location.

Position Overview

Oversees the Claim Posting, Patient Receivable, and Customer Service departments to ensure accurate and efficient posting of payments and adjustments to the hospital and physician systems, maximum and timely collection of patient responsibility amounts, and excellent customer service to AHS patients and families. Supports the customer-focused revenue cycle process by providing targeted employee training. Completes reports and special projects.

Qualifications Required:
  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Fully knowledgeable of and conducts all activities in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements,
  • including but not limited to HIPAA rules and regulations, Medicare Secondary Payer Screening requirements,
  • medical necessity screening and ABN rules, Red Flag Rules, and billing and coding compliance rules and
  • regulations.
  • Knowledgeable of Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AHS managed care payer rules.
  • Advance degree or active pursuit of advanced degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous patient receivable resolution experience
  • AAHAM or HFMA certification.
  • Previous hospital billing experience and demonstrated knowledge of third-party and self-pay billing procedures and claim review and analysis strongly preferred.
