Job description

Case Management Supervisor

Location: Itasca, Illinois (On-site / Community-based) 
Employment Type: Full-time 
Salary: $72,000 - $77,000 annually

About the Role 

Clarvida is seeking a Case Management Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision to a team of approximately five Case Managers supporting children and families involved in the child welfare system. In this role, you will oversee case assignments, guide clinical and case practice, and ensure services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and family-centered manner. 

This position is primarily supervisory but may carry a limited caseload as needed to support team operations. The role also participates in an on-call rotation to provide evening and weekend support to Case Managers. 

Responsibilities 

● Supervise and support a team of Case Managers working with children and families 
● Assign and manage caseloads to ensure effective service delivery 
● Facilitate weekly treatment team meetings and provide ongoing staff education 
● Stay knowledgeable about local community resources and referral options 
● Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance 
● Attend leadership and coordination meetings as required 
● Address initial complaints and grievances from staff, clients, and foster parents 
● Provide coaching, feedback, and performance oversight to assigned staff 
● Carry a caseload as needed to support coverage and continuity of care 
● Participate in an on-call rotation to support staff during evenings and weekends 

Requirements 

● One of the following: 
– Master’s Degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related field) 
– Illinois licensure as one of the following: 
  • LPHA / Qualified Mental Health Practitioner 
  • LSW – Licensed Social Worker 
  • LADAC – Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor 
  • CDAC – Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor 
  • CWEL license 
● Direct work experience with children, youth, and families in a therapeutic environment 
● Valid State Driver’s License and active automobile insurance 
● Ability to obtain an Illinois Driver’s License within 30 days of hire if relocating
