Job description

Position Overview: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday.

Pre-employment Requirements:

  • We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Education:

  • Validation of High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care setting office environment preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an Administrative Assistant preferred.

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Serves as clerical support for HIM/Case Management Directors.
  • Performs corrections on time edits for Payroll.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation.
  • Serves as clerical support in meeting recordings, supply orders, and mail distribution for the department.
  • Runs reports, handles filing and organization of information.
