Your job duties include preparing legal paperwork, providing administrative support during trials and litigation, contacting clients, and other support duties as required by the legal team. A career as a case assistant does not require you to have a college degree, though many employers prefer candidates have some prior legal training or experience. To excel as a case assistant, you should have superb communications skills, familiarity with legal language, and a familiarity with legal proceedings.
