GOLF CART ATTENDANT
Note: THIS IS NOT A BEVERAGE CART POSITION.
Job Summary
Located in our Golf Department, we are looking for full-time and part-time candidates. The ideal individual is someone that is detail oriented, enthusiastic, and a team player. This position focuses on providing exemplary service to Club members and guests while assisting with loading and unloading, cleaning, and storing golf bags and golf carts. THIS IS NOT A BEVERAGE CART POSITION.
Job Duties and Tasks
  • Greeting guests at the bag drop or driving to meet them as they park.
  • Unloading bags from members’ and guests’ cars and onto the golf carts.
  • Communicating in a clear, professional manner.
  • Taking care of golf clubs and assuring they are clean.
  • Delivering carts from the Cart Barn to the daily staging area and exercising proper golf cart rotation.
  • Keeping range balls clean, disposing of cut or damaged balls, and striping range balls as needed.
  • Managing the bag storage room, keeping all bags and storage bins in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Providing golf carts that are clean, safe, and properly prepared with a towel, full sand bottle, pencil, scorecard, and tees.
  • Keeping the cart barn and staging area clean and organized.
  • Assisting members and guests as they depart from the facility.
  • Completes all other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • Available to work flexible hours as needed including during the week, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be dependable and a team player.
  • Must follow the Club dress code maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch on a regular basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
  • Must be available on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Private Club industry or on a golf course is a plus.

Work Location and Hours
Marietta Country Club is located at 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive in Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
This position works:
Mornings: 6:45 am – 1:30 pm
OR
Afternoons: 1:30 pm - 9:00 pm
MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY.
