Overview: The Golf Attendant at Boca West Country Club provides essential support to the golf operation by assisting with member and guest needs on the course, maintaining course cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient golf environment. This role involves providing on-course support, managing carts, and delivering excellent customer service to enhance the overall golf experience for members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-Course Support & Customer Service
• Assist members and guests with on-course needs, including providing water, towels, and other amenities.
• Support pace of play by monitoring groups, offering assistance, and communicating with the golf staff.
• Help manage the flow of players, ensuring timely tee times and smooth course operations.
• Offer friendly, professional service, greeting members and guests courteously throughout their round.
Cart Management & Maintenance
• Support the setup, distribution, and collection of golf carts.
• Ensure carts are clean, fueled, and well-maintained; report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
• Assist with organizing cart staging areas and ensuring carts are ready for use.
Course Appearance & Safety
• Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the course, including trash removal and debris clearing.
• Enforce safety protocols related to cart operation and course conduct.
• Assist with course setup for tournaments, outings, and special events.
Operational Support
• Support staff with logistical tasks, such as replenishing supplies and setting up on-course stations.
• Communicate effectively with the golf team regarding course conditions, member requests, and safety concerns.
• Support other operational activities as needed to ensure a smooth golf experience.
