Job Summary:
As a Carrier Representative, you will source and secure capacity to move customer freight by building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing carriers. This role focuses on negotiating rates, coordinating freight coverage, and ensuring on-time delivery while providing high-quality service to both carriers and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide and negotiate freight rates to carriers, ensuring maximum profitability while maintaining healthy relationships.
  • Coordinate available customer freight with available carrier equipment.
  • Ensure all loads on the load board are covered so that customer freight is moved in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure all load responsibilities are covered, including rating, loading, and tracking.
  • Assist in carrier and customer issues, escalating any necessary concerns to the Shipper Representative or Operations Manager.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the company brand.
  • Other duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2+ years of supply chain/logistics experience or equivalent college level coursework
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with load boards, TMS platforms, or freight brokerage systems.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as Concept associates.
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade, and motivate others.

Salary:
$40,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience. With competitive incentive opportunities.
