Job description

Hamilton is looking to add to our Install and Dismantle (I&D) team! I&D specializes in trade show booth set-up and tear-down.

Hamilton is a full-service event marketing agency with over a 75-year legacy creating immersive brand experiences for companies throughout North America and around the world. We design, produce, and execute integrated experiences – exhibits, events, environments, and digital solutions – that drive meaningful connections between your brand and your audience.

You MUST be open to overtime, be dependable, have a flexible schedule, and be on time to be successful.

Experience with hand tools is a plus! You will need reliable transportation.

We are specifically looking for someone with installation experience. Experience in the trade show industry is a plus!

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Install & dismantle trade show exhibits including displays, signs, carpets, supports, and other items for conventions and trade shows at the Indiana Convention Center, local venues, and our Indianapolis facility
  • Loading and unloading client displays and equipment into trucks to prevent damage
  • Safely work from lifts, ladders, and platforms at different heights
  • Acts as an ambassador for the company, provides quality workmanship, and has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willing to work weekends and extended hours based on deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read basic blueprints and floor plans, helpful but not necessary
  • Experience using basic workshop hand and power tools
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • An effective team player, but also capable of working independently
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain a favorable attendance record
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Flexible schedule is required job may require some off-hour working times including nights, early mornings, and weekends

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs at times, team lift
  • Must be comfortable with ladder work from various heights
  • Consistently work in fast-paced environments under strict deadlines where safety is required!
