Job description

Job Purpose:
- As a Tile Helper at BLAKLEY CORP, you'll play an important role in helping our team install ceramic tiles in commercial projects. You'll be working alongside experienced tile installers, learning the tricks of the trade, and helping to create beautiful and durable surfaces that our clients will love.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of surfaces before tile installation, ensuring they are clean and ready for work.
- Help measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, following the guidance of experienced installers.
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and other materials needed for tile installation.
- Transport tiles and materials to and from the job site, ensuring everything is organized and accessible.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition for daily use.
- Support the installation team by holding tiles in place and ensuring they are level and properly aligned.
- Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Learn and develop new skills in tile installation, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Experience in manual labor or construction environments
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in tile installation
