Grand Industrial and the Logansport, Indiana location is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various flooring installation techniques and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining different types of flooring materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Engagement of potential customers.
  • Management of Customer Expectations.
  • Preparing detailed estimates using bid documents, site walks, and past experiences.
  • Appling labor to estimates considering hazards, difficult areas, and other existing conditions that could impact production.
  • Performing take-offs of all quantities required for estimate.
  • Soliciting competitive quotes from subs and vendors for materials and services.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Build teams, teach and mentor the development of future foreman.
Preparation:
  • Removing old flooring materials.
  • Cleaning and leveling surfaces.
  • Preparing subfloors for installation.
  • Measuring and cutting flooring materials to fit.
  • Installing various types of flooring, including carpet, tile, hardwood, vinyl, and laminate.
  • Attaching flooring using adhesives and other fasteners.
  • Ensuring the flooring is properly sealed.
  • Applying finishing materials, such as grout on tile or stain on wood.
