Job description

North Dakota's leading commercial and residential interior design and furnishings company is searching for Stretch In Carpet Installers to join our team of installation experts. For over 30 years, our family-owned company has demonstrated year over year growth and is grabbing the attention as a leading employer in the Bismarck area design and flooring industry. We have invested countless hours and resources into updating our brand and 40,000 square foot showroom to accommodate the latest in design and furnishing trends. And now we need team members such as you to help install our huge selection of flooring materials.

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic, Carpet Installers to join the Interiors by Design team. Your talents are needed to install a variety of flooring materials including but not limited too stretch carpet, modular carpet, and other rolled flooring materials for various residential, commercial and industrial applications. Other duties may include demolition/removal of existing floors, cleaning and prepping floors to receive new products.

Requirements include: Valid driver's license, able to work Monday through Friday, pass a background check.

2-3 Years of Prefered Experience Should Include:

- Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
- Remove existing flooring and prepare the subfloor for installation
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring materials
- Apply adhesive, seam and secure flooring materials in place
- Trim and finish edges of flooring materials as needed
- Clean up work area and dispose of debris properly
