We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined individual to join our highly productive team. The ideal candidate should have experience in carpet and upholstery cleaning, carpet repairs, water-damage restoration, mold remediation, or construction. However, we are willing to train the right person who is self-motivated and interested in developing a skilled trade with opportunities for growth.
Starting pay for trainees is $38,000 per year. Highly experienced candidates may earn up to $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
• Clean carpets, upholstery, and other fabrics
• Repair and reinstall carpet
• Assist with water-damage restoration and drying procedures
• Perform mold remediation and necessary demolition
• Operate and maintain professional cleaning and restoration equipment
• Identify different carpet and fabric types and use the appropriate cleaning process
• Treat stains and heavily soiled areas
• Move and reset furniture as needed
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Keep equipment, tools, and work vehicles clean and organized
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Maintain the reputation and integrity of our company’s brand
Qualifications:
• Experience in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, water-damage restoration, mold remediation, or construction is preferred but not required
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machines and all tools
• Self-motivated critical thinker
• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to perform physical labor and lift or move equipment and furniture
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record are required
• Must be available for emergency-service calls, including nights and weekends when needed
