Job description

Paulson's Construction is a leading home remodeling company in Livingston county looking to grow our team! We are looking to add a Carpenter's Assistant to work alongside our Carpenters on a wide array of home remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

  • Taking pride in your work.
  • Maintain a clean job-site.
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at job sites on time throughout Livingston county and surrounding areas.
  • Complete tasks given by Lead Carpenter/Superintendent.
  • Assist carpenters and learn valuable carpentry skills on the job.
  • Prepare work areas by transporting necessary tools and equipment from storage facilities.
  • Load and unload building materials for construction projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and carpenters.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Michigan driver's license.
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for prolonged periods.
