Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Journeyman Carpenters for Immediate Hire.

Join a long-term commercial construction project with weekly pay, 40+ hours per week, and per diem available for qualified travelers!

  • PAY: $30.00–$37.00/hour (based on experience) + $90/day Per Diem for qualified travelers

  • HOURS: Day Shift

  • SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; approximately 40+ hours per week

  • START DATE: Immediate Hire

  • DURATION: Long-term contract opportunity

Journeyman Carpenter Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters to support commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, framing, installing doors, hardware, blocking, backing, casework, and finish carpentry, while maintaining high-quality workmanship and following all job site safety requirements.

Qualifications for Journeyman Carpenter:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial carpentry experience

  • Proficient in blueprint reading, layout, framing, and finish carpentry

  • Experience installing doors, frames, hardware, blocking, backing, millwork, and other commercial carpentry systems

  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools

  • Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE

  • Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Additional Requirements for Journeyman Carpenter:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Must have reliable transportation to the job site

  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred (or willing to obtain if required)

  • Depending on assignment, applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background screening
