PRN Psychiatrist – CaroMont Health

CaroMont Health is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our established and collaborative Psychiatric team. This PRN role offers flexible weekday scheduling with defined weekend and night call coverage. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term career serving a diverse patient population within a supportive, physician friendly environment.

** Position Highlights **

  • Inpatient responsibilities caring for children, adolescents, and adults

  • Weekend coverage 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • On-call consists of Fridays & Sundays 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM.

  • Join a respected psychiatric practice with strong clinical and administrative support

** Key Responsibilities **

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions for patients of all ages

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans

  • Provide care for dual diagnosis and substance use patients

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

** Requirements **

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible

  • Active NC license & DEA
