Job Summary:

FARM Restaurant at Carneros Resort and Spa is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Part-Time Server to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional service in a Forbes environment, where every guest interaction is an opportunity to create memorable experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver personalized service in a fast-paced, luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations.
  • Guide guests through the menu, making recommendations for food and wine pairings based on preferences and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, including wine and beverage offerings.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, linens, and utensils, to maintain a polished, luxury atmosphere.
  • Uphold Forbes luxury service standards by providing anticipatory and respectful service at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolutions.
  • Take and process orders accurately, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are addressed.
  • Assist with special events, private dining experiences, and seasonal promotions.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting, preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage guests with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality service.
  • Knowledge of Napa Valley wines and culinary offerings is a plus.
  • Team player mentality with a dedication to maintaining high service standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
